The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award provides young people with the opportunity to gain personal and practical skills through a challenging and rewarding programme of personal development. And for many, the expedition element of the award will be the most exciting part, but when it comes to organising an expedition, it can be a confusing and time-consuming task. Don’t worry; help is at hand.

Let us take away the strain, the paperwork and the hassle, and we’ll help you to have an expedition to remember. We are experts at preparing and delivering quality DofE expeditions across the country, working closely with DofE Operating Authorities and the DofE National Offices to ensure that our expeditions give the participants the chance to achieve everything they are capable of.

We offer expeditions that can fit anybody’s needs, with tailor-made Group DofE Expeditions for organisations such as schools and youth groups, and Open DofE Expeditions for small groups and individuals. We also offer participants the chance to try something new on their expeditions with modes of travel including cycling, canoeing and kayaking in addition to walking.

You can be confident that all of our expeditions meet not only the DofE Awards requirements and the highest national safety standards but also our own high benchmarks for being more than just a tick in a box.

We aim to make organising and completing a DofE expedition as enjoyable and fulfilling as can be, for participants, leaders and parents. We focus on the real ethos of what the Duke Of Edinburgh Award is all about, giving you the chance to feel like you’ve really achieved something rather than just followed a prescribed path or filled in a piece of paper. We make sure our expedition programmes are designed to give you all the information, training and support you need to be able to take control of your expedition and really make it your own, plus to come away with new skills as well as fantastic tales to tell. You’ll get the opportunity of gaining national skills awards in your chosen mode of travel, as well heaps of useful life lessons along the way. You’ll learn lifesaving first aid skills, how to work with other people as a team, how to find your way around unfamiliar places, and have a whole load of fun in the outdoors too.

All the group and technical equipment you need is included in our prices, and our comprehensive kit lists and advice will help you to make the right choices for all your own personal equipment. Whether it’s a tent, a first aid kit or a canoe, all of our equipment
is chosen for its quality and ease of use, and it is all maintained to the high standards that you would expect from a specialist expedition provider. We are proud that our years of experience and range of expertise gives you the chance to make your groups expeditions as adventurous and unique as you would ever like to. You might just be looking for something different to what you’ve done before, or to go somewhere especially memorable, perhaps for a final Gold expedition.
