It doesn’t matter if you’ve tried climbing indoor before, or if you’ve never had your feet off the ground, we can get you outside and scrambling up real rock faces.
This is a popular activity with all sorts of groups, and of all sorts of ages. It’s all about setting yourself a challenge on how high you think you can climb, then seeing if you can beat it, and if you can get right to the top see if you can do it better on your next go. It’s also a great way to challenge yourself to overcome fears, and the views are usually better higher up!
During your session, you’ll learn a bit about the equipment you’re going to be using, and how to get on to the wall and start moving around on it without going more than a few feet off the ground; a training technique climbers call “bouldering”. After a bit practice at that, it’s time to get climbing properly. You’ll be tied on to the rope and from then on the only way is UP! You’ll also learn what to do at the other end of the rope when the person climbing is attached to you.
If your time on the wall leaves you wanting more, then why not try one of our Intro To Rock Climbing courses to find out about taking it further.
If the weather conditions on the day are poor, then we may move the activity to a local indoor climbing wall.
